OVERVIEW

In October and November USATF Indiana will host a series of cross country meets as part of the 10th annual USATF INDIANA Hoosier Cross Country Grand Prix.

The Grand Prix schedule includes events in Columbus, Indianapols, Seymour, Shelbyville, and Valparaiso. Each meet will offer races for youth, open, and masters athletes.

USATF membership is not required to participate in the meets but only USATF Indiana members will earn Grand Prix points at each of the meets that will accumulate towards a year-end grand prix score and place.

The Grand Prix will culminate with the USATF Indiana Cross Country Championships on November 9 but additional scoring opportunites will be available for those athletes who compete in the Junior Olympic Region and National Championships and the USATF National Club Cross Country Championships

USATF Membership: You must be a current USATF Indiana member to earn Grand Prix points. Not a member? Join here.

Divisions:

Youth (8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18)
Open (19-39 yrs.)
Masters (40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64..............100+)

An athlete’s best four (4) scores will be added together to determine their Grand Prix score.

Bonus Points: An additional 10 points will be added to the athlete’s score for participation in each of the following events;

5th event in the Grand Prix
National Junior Olympic XC Champs. (December 14 in Louisville, KY)
National Club Cross Country Champs. (December 14 in Tacoma, WA)

the top point scorer in the each age division (open, each masters 5 year division, each youth division) will win a Brooks long sleeve technical shirt with the Grand Prix Champion designation embellished on the shirt:
