Lindsay, Davis, Ritter lead Indiana Elite AC to national title in Atlanta
The
Indiana Elite AC
dominated yesterday's M40+ competition at the USATF Masters 5 km Championships in Atlanta.
They won the 40+ team division by over three minutes over the Atlanta Track Club. The team was led by the 1-2 finish by
Bryan Lindsay
, 40, (Zionsville) and
Jesse Davis
, 40, (Indianapolis. Lindsday won the the individual title running 15:38 with Davis just 10 seconds back. The team's third (and final) team scorer was
Jasen Ritter
, 47, (Indianapolis) who ran 16:03. Ritter finished second in the M45-49 division. His 89.08% age graded score was the best among all of the Indiana competitors. Finishing just two seconds behind Ritter was
John Jackson
, 46, of Bloomington. Jackson finished third in the 45-49 division.
John Poray
, 40, of Fishers ran 16:36 to finish sixth in the 40-44 division.
Michal Collins
, 57, of South Bend, finished second in the 55-59 division running 17:25. His age-graded score (88.83%) was second best on the day for the Hoosiers.
Ken Wempe
, 53, (Indianapolis) finished 12th in the 50-54 division running 18:34.
