Elliott selected as May Athlete of the Month

Ramiah Elliott, 17, of Indianapolis, Ind. has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for May 2021.  Elliott just completed her junior year at North Central High School.

On May 7, Elliott won the 100m (12.11) and 400m (58.87) at the Pike Invitational.

On May 11 Elliott won the 400m (55.91) and finished third in the 200m (25.17) at the Marion Country Championships.

A week later she won the 200m (24.90) and 400m (57.74) at the IHSAA sectionals.

Then on May 25th at the IHSAA regionals she again won the 200m (24.71) and 400m (55.72).

At the IHSAA state championships she continued her (double) winning ways as she won the 200m in 24.33 and the 400m in 55.08.

Her 55.08 at the state finals would place her #15 on the all-time Indiana list (note: she holds the #3 spot with her 52.89 from 2019).

Elliott is a four-time USATF Indiana Athlete of the Year honoree.
