Evans selected as January Athlete of the Month

Elizabeth Evans, 32, of Terre Haute has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for January 2023.

On January 21 she won the high jump at the John Gartland Invitational in Terre Haute.  Her winning clearance was 1.81m (5-11¼)

On February 4, Evans cleared 1.83m (6' 0") to win the high jump at the Blue & White Classic hosted by Indiana State University in Terre Haute.  The performance marked the 11th straight year that she has cleared 6 feet.  

On February 17, she will be competing in her 18th USA Championships (indoor & outdoor) in Albuquerque, NW

Cody Johnston  of Hobart cleared  16-05¼ in the pole vault.
