Irby selected as February Athlete of the Month

Lynna Irby, 23, of Indianapolis has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for February 2022.

On February 26, Irby won the 400m at the USATF Indoor Championships in Spokane, Wa. Her winning time was 51.88. It was Irby's first USATF national title as a professional.

She also earned a spot on Team USA for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in Serbia. This will be her first Team USA appearance in an individual event as a professional. Last year she represented Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics in two relay events.
