Tragesser selected as October Athlete of the Month

Chloe Tragesser, 10, of Morristown, Ind. has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for October 2020.

Tragesser won all three Hoosier Cross Country Grand Prix events she competed in during the month and then added two more in early November.

On October 10 she won the Carmel Classic 9-10 girls division by 31 seconds running 12:30 on the 3 km course.  The next day she won at the Lowell Classic running 13:00.  

On October 25, she continued her her streak with a win at the Noblesville Classic as battled Laila Meir to win by 1.4 seconds.  Tragesser's time was 12:37. 

In early November, Tragesser added two more wins to her Grand Prix resume as she won the Columbus Classic on November 1 and then won the Indiana Association title on November 7.  She now has 2600 grand prix points, securing the 9-10 girls grand prix title this year.
