Organizing a quality event takes many people. WIthout the support of volunteers we could not offer your child the quality experience we all want for them. Please consider volunteering. There are many different time slots and areas we need your assistance in. Contact us to volunteer.
Only athletes who qualified for this championship at either the Indiana or Illinois Association Championships or received a special entry consideration by the Region 7 Coordinator are eligible to enter and compete in this event.
Only U.S. citizens, aliens living in the United States and foreign exchange students are eligible to compete in these Championships. See the USATF Rules for more information and exceptions. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. Competitors in the 8 & Under, 9-10 and 11-12 age divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays. Competitors in the 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18 age divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count. All athletes must be 2018 members of USATF in good standing.
Only registered 2020 USATF member clubs may enter a relay team(s). All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with and members of that club as part of their USATF membership. Back to Top
Competition bib numbers will be distributed to athletes in their team packets or individual folders for unattached athletes at the packet pick-up area. Packets will be available 1 hour before the start of events each day. All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition and on the front on their jerseys only. If an athlete loses the bib number, a replacement can be purchased for a fee of $10.00. Back to Top

There will be separate check-in areas for Running and Field events. Athletes must check in at these designated areas at first call for the age division/event. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warm-up areas after checking in. Back to Top
Implements must be brought to the Implement Inspection table 45 minutes before the start of each day’s events. Back to Top
USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top five (5) individuals and the top five (5) relay teams in each event of each age division. Back to Top
If you lose your band, you will pay to get another one. Please keep it on. No admission charged for Thursday or Friday events. Coaches will be admitted free if they have passed a background check and Safesport course by June 20, 2020. Otherwise, they must pay the admission fee and will not be allowed on the track or field. Except as noted below, the top 5 individuals (top 2 in the combined events) and relay teams in each event of each age division will be eligible to compte at the The USATF National Junior Olympic Championships (July 27 - August 2; Jacksonville, FL). Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) "Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the National Junior Olympic Championships." Back to Top
