  • sl-1.jpgThe Indiana Track and Cross Country Museum will be open for touring the facility artifacts, memorabilia, exhibits and displays by teams and officials, on Friday, Nov. 17 from 8am to 4pm. Admission is free. The museum is located at 5353 E Margaret Dr., Terre Haute, Indiana 47803

SPECATORS

  • The admission fee is $5 per person (11 years and older; including athletes and coaches). CASH ONLY. 
  • No Pets.  Please leave all pets at home.  We have had issues of dogs getting lose in the past and tripping runners.
  • Spectators should take great caution to not cross over the running surface during races, but if you must, please be courteous to the runners and give PLENTY of time before you cross or wait until they pass you. Please encourage others to do this as well.
  • Spectators should not go under or over any flagging set anywhere on the course, including the finish area.
  • Spectators should remain behind the areas marked on the finish stretch at all times.
  • Please take all trash with you as you leave and help by taking any you may see around.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Individuals:

Current USATF membership is required to compete.  Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license, or U.S. government identification) is required and must be submitted prior to registration and participation. Upload the proof of birth for athlete using USATF Connect account. Documents received via email will not be processed.

 
Teams:

Only registered USATF member clubs may enter a team.  All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with that club as part of their USATF membership.  To enter a team, a club must complete the team entry/declaration process during online registrations.   

 

ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES: 

ENTRY DEADLINE:   Late entries will not be allowed
all entries are due by Thursday, November 16 at 5 P.M. ET.  
Please do not wait until the last minute to begin your registration.

Individuals: $15.00 per athlete.        Team:  No additional charge

  • Before entring, each athlete's proof of date of birth must be submitted (uploaded) to the athlete's USATF member profile via USATF Connect.  Documents received via email will not be processed.

TEAM SCORING

Team scoring is divided into five (5) divisions for boys and five (5) divisions for girls. The athlete’s year of birth shall determine the division in which the athlete shall compete.

Eight (8) athletes on the team entry/declaration form may be declared as scoring athletes.  The top five (5) finishers among the declared runners will score to determine the team's final score.

# the two oldest age divisions (15-16 and 17-18) will be a combined (15-18) team division. These divisions will compete together in the same race and athletes will continue to compete in their 2-year division as a individuals.
 

COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS

All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition, chest-high on the front of their jerseys.  Bib numbers will be distributed to athletes starting at 9:00 a.m. 

 

EVENT RESULTS

Event results will be posted be posted at www.indiana.usatf.org.

 

AWARDS

USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top thirty (30) individuals in each age division.

ADVANCEMENTS 

The top 30 individuals and top 5 teams in each age division will qualify for the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships (December 9; Louisville).
