Clodfelter selected as July Athlete of the Month

Chet Clodfelter, 60, of Roachdale has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for July 2024.

Clodfelter won the men's 60-64 Pole Vault at the Pan Am Masters Games in Cleveland, OH. His winning clearnace of 4.12m (13-06¼) broke the M60 American record held by fellow Hoosier Gary Hunter. Hunter's previous record set in 2016 was 4.11m.
