Denton selected as September Athlete of the Month

Kristy Denton, 33, of Newburgh, Ind. has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for September 2019. 

On September 21-22 Denton won the USATF 24 Hour Championships in Cleveland, OH. Running on a .88 mile loop in Edgewater Park she completed 104.982 miles. Tempertures reached 90° during the day making it the second hottest September 21st on record in Cleveland. The 104.982 miles bettered her previous career best of 102 miles.
