Garrett selected as March Athlete of the Month

Kamyren Garrett, 18, of Indianapolis has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for March 2020.  Garrett is a junior at Lawrence Central.

On March 6, Garrett won the Hoosier Relays - Lawrence Central Qualifier #1 meet held at the University of Indianapolis with a leap of 7'-0".

In February Garrett won the high jump at both the UK High School Invitation in Lexington, KY and the Greyhound Classic in Indianapolis.  His winning height at the Greyhond Classic was 7'-0½".  The mark ranks #1 on the 2020 U.S. high school indoor list and according to IndianaRunner.com, places him #19 all-time on the Indiana high school list.
