How did you start running?

I went out for cross country in sixth grade because the basketball coach said that anyone who did would automatically make the first cut of basketball tryouts!

Where did you qualify for the Trials?

Philadelphia Marathon - 2018

Tell us about the point you realized you had qualified for the Trials and how it felt?

I knew at the halfway point in Philadelphia that something catastrophic would have to happen for me to not qualify. More than anything I felt relieved, because it had been a long road getting back into marathon shape after a lot of setbacks between 2016 and 2018.

What High School did you graduate from?

Michigan City High School - 2006

What were your best track times in high school and best placings in cross country?

• 1600m: 5:08
• 3200m: 10:56
• Cross Country 12th, 21st, 24th at the State meet senior, junior, and sophomore years respectively

#1 High School highlight?

Qualifying for state as a team my sophomore year of high school

What were your best times in college?

• 5000m: 17:37
• 10,000m: 36:35
• Cross Country: 13th, 24th at Great Lakes Region my sophomore and junior years respectively

#1 College highlight?

Placing 13th at Great Lakes Regional as the top runner on the team after having been the team's consistent 3rd or 4th runner all year
