Lesnet selected as November Athlete of the Month

Eli Lesnet, 10, of Westfield, Ind. has been named the USATF Indiana Athlete of the Month for November 2020.

Lesnet won both of the Hoosier Cross Country Grand Prix events he competed in during the month.

On November 1 he won the Columbus Classic 9-10 boys division by 50 seconds running 11:09 on the 3 km course.  The following week at the Indiana Cross Country Championships in Columbus he again ran to victory, running 10:59.  His margin of victory was 34 seconds.

Lesnet is entered in this weekend's USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Paris, Kentucky.
