2023 Carmel Classic / Hoosier XC Grand Prix

HEAVY TRAFFIC ALERT & PARKING

Please note that the Northview Church parking area will be under a heavy traffic flow on Sunday from Noon until 12:20 p.m. as Church services are finishing up for the day.  As such, we are encouraging everyone to arrive after 12:20 p.m.  If you do arrive earlier than 12:20 p.m. we are encouraging you to park in the northeast parking lot of the Church.  This entrance to this parking lot is near the 1 km mark on the course off of Main Street.

Other important notes:

• please do not park on the grass.  Only park in designated parking spots.
• please do not enter the Church.  Port-O-Lets will be onsite.
• do not park in the Carmel's Dad Club facility adjacent to the Church.  They will be having games being played that day and will tow cars not there for their gamee.

SPECATORS / VENUE POLICIES

• No Pets.  Please leave all pets at home.  We have had issues of dogs getting lose in the past and tripping runners.
• Spectators should take great caution to not cross over the running surface during races, but if you must, please be courteous to the runners and give PLENTY of time before you cross or wait until they pass you. Please encourage others to do this as well.
• Spectators should not go under or over any flagging set anywhere on the course, including the finish area.
• Spectators should remain behind the areas marked on the finish stretch at all times.
• Please take all trash with you as you leave and help by taking any you may see around.

COURSE REVIEW

There will be no formal course review/walk. 
 

ELIGIBILITY

• Athletes of all ages are eligible to compete in this event.  
• Only USATF Indiana members will earn Hoosier XC Grand Prix points.
