  • Spectators should take great caution to not cross over the running surface during races, but if you must, please be courteous to the runners and give PLENTY of time before you cross or wait until they pass you. Please encourage others to do this as well.
  • Spectators should not go under or over any flagging/fencing set anywhere on the course, including the finish area.
  • Spectators should remain behind the areas marked on the finish stretch at all times.
  • Please take all trash with you as you leave and help by taking any you may see around.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Individuals: Current USATF Indiana membership is required to compete. Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license, or U.S. government identification) is required and must be submitted prior to registration and participation. 

Before entering, each athlete's proof of date of birth must be submitted (uploaded) to the athlete's USATF member profile via USATF Connect. Documents received via email will not be processed. The registration website is linked the USATF and will not allow for meet registration without USATF Membership and verified proof of birth. If you are having problems, please reach out through the contact email early.
 
Teams: Only registered USATF member clubs may enter a team. All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with that club as part of their USATF membership. To enter a team, a club must complete the team entry/declaration process during online registrations. Only athletes listed on the team declaration roster will be eligible to represent the club at the Association, Regional or National championships.  Clubs may enter multiple teams within any single age division.
 

REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES 

DEADLINE:   Late entries will not be allowed
all entries are due by  November TBA, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.  
Please do not wait until the last minute to begin your registration.

TEAM SCORING

Team scoring is divided into five divisions for boys and five divisions for girls. The athlete’s year of birth shall determine the division in which the athlete shall compete.

# the two oldest age divisions (15-16 and 17-18) will be a combined (15-18) team division. These divisions will compete together in the same race and athletes will continue to compete in their 2-year division as individuals.

8 athletes on the team entry/declaration form may be declared as scoring athletes.  The top 5 finishers among the declared runners will score to determine the team's final score. 

 

COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS

All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition, chest-high on the front of their jerseys. Bib numbers will be distributed to athletes starting at 8am at the two story building near the start line. Replacement for lost bibs will be $10.


CHIP TIMING

All races will be chip timed. Lost chips will incur a $25 charge each. For teams, please return unused chips to the check-in table. To assist in chip handling, chips will be collected in the finish area prior to athletes leaving that area.


SAFE SPORT ATHLETE WELFARE

At the completion of the 8 & Under and 9-10 year age group races, the athletes will be held in the finish area until picked up by a parent or coach with a wrist band matching the athletes bib number. These bands will be included with the bibs during pickup.
 

EVENT RESULTS

During competition, event results will be posted at the registration/awards table. In addition, event results will be posted at www.indiana.usatf.org once finalized.
 

AWARDS

USATF Junior Olympic regional championship medals will be awarded to the top 15 individuals in each age division.
 

ADVANCEMENTS (to Regionals)

The top 50 Individuals and top 5 teams in each age division qualify for the USATF Region 7 Junior Olympic Championships in Terre Haute, IN (November 22)
